At this point, the numbers are getting a little absurd. Maybe even unbelievable.
Woodberry Forest’s Lindell Stone had another incredible outing Friday afternoon as he helped push the Tigers to a 53-24 victory over Collegiate.
Stone threw for 416 yards and five touchdowns while going 24-for-32 on the night. That led to some huge outings for Terrell Jana and Zach Roderick as Jana finished with 203 yards and three touchdowns and Roderick had 134 yards and a touchdown on seven catches including a 76 yarder.
Evans Riviere gave the Woodberry ground game a jolt, rushing for 108 yards on 18 carries on the night.
Woodberry reeled off 29 unanswered points at the break against the Cougars. The Tigers will try and stay on track Saturday against Trinity Episcopal.
