According to the Virginian-Pilot, Wednesday the VHSL Executive committee approved the 24-region alignment plan that was put forward late last year.
The plan eliminates the current conference system, now in its third year, in favor of the region-based approach and will start in the 2017-2018 school year. For more information on the 24-region system, click below.
