Western Albemarle’s boys tennis team moved some pieces around in the lineup but the result was much the same as it’s been in the bulk of their Jefferson District matches — an easy victory.
The Warriors beat Orange 8-1 Thursday night with Beau Merhige, Scott Grover and Ben Masselli picking up easy wins in the singles ladder. Hunter Weis and Alex Lehmbeck also combined for a 10-0 win at No. 3 doubles.
Western will host Charlottesville Friday night while the Hornets host Albemarle at 5 p.m. the same night.
