The Western Albemarle varsity girls’ basketball team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 54-43 win against Heritage-Lynchburg. Several Warriors had solid, balanced statistical nights.
Ellen Shaffrey recorded 13 points, 23 rebounds, and 4 assists. Carolyn Schneller contributed 14 points and 6 rebounds. Kelsey Swanson had 8 points, 7 steals, and 4 assists. Raven Ward had 5 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocked shots.
