Behind a slightly reshuffled lineup, Western girls tennis team beat Powhatan Monday night 8-1 with Maddy Ix winning 10-0 as she took a spin as the Warriors’ No. 1.
She then teamed with usual No. 1 Emily Kochard in doubles for a 10-1 win. Cici Fortson also picked up a 10-0 singles win.
Western (6-0 overall) plays Monticello Thursday at home.
