On the road against Louisa County, the Western Albemarle boys soccer team scored early and often to the tune of an 8-0 win on Monday night.
Just 50 seconds into the game, Patrick Wayand opened up the scoring for the Warriors. Wesley Verell picked up a hatrick while TJ Herihy, Garrett Devine, Austin Ballard and Lane Gearhart all chipping in a goal a piece.
Western (10-0-2, 9-0-1, Jefferson) hosts Charlottesville on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
