A little more than a month into the season and the team has yet to taste defeat. The Western Albemarle boys soccer team posted an 8-0 shutout of William Monroe on Monday night.
Scoring a hat trick for the third time this year, Alex Nolet lead the busy Warrior offense with four goals. Teammate Will Odom netted a pair of goals as well and Austin Ballard and Hayes Fountain rounded out the scoring.
Western (5-0-2, 4-0-1 Jefferson) hosts Louisa County on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
