Covenant, Blue Ridge and Miller begin Virginia Independent Conference tournament play in a number of sports this week. Here’s the lineup
Girls lacrosse: No. 2 seed Covenant faces Fredericksburg Academy Tuesday at 3:45 p.m. If the Eagles win, they’d face the winner of Steward and Virginia Episcopal at 5 pm.
Boys tennis: No. 1-seed Covenant takes on No. 8-seed Blue Ridge Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. at Penn Park while No.5 Miller hits the road to take on Liberty Christian. If Covenant wins, they’ll hold home-court advantage throughout the tournament.
Baseball: No. 1 Covenant takes on No. 8 North Cross at 5 p.m. today while Miller and Blue Ridge hit the road to face Liberty Christian and Carlisle respectively.
Girls soccer: Covenant took on St. Gertrude’s Monday evening in the No.4/No. 5 seed matchup.
Boys lacrosse: No. 1 Blue Ridge hosts North Cross in the semifinals Wednesday at 5 p.m. while No. 2 Covenant takes on Virginia Episcopal at home Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
