Western Albemarle’s Christian Pierce picked up Group AA honors from the Virginia High School Coaches Association according to the Daily Press in Newport News.
Pierce was a first-team honoree, while Spotswood High’s Marlon Organ, a regular participant in the Daily Progress holiday tournament, earned Division 3 player of the year honors.
