Charlottesville girls roll past Fluvanna

Charlottesville’s girls soccer team stayed unbeaten in Jefferson District play Thursday night, rolling 4-0 over Fluvanna County to move to 6-0 in the JD and 7-1 overall.

Althea Pickering, Ellie Von Storch and Kelsey Brownrigg all scored for the Black Knights with Pickering checking in with a pair of goals. The Black Knights unleashed an offensive assault with 23 total shots to Fluvanna’s six total chances.

Mary Hemenway, Abigail Intolubbe-Chmil and Kellie Havens all notched assists. Emily Thomas came up with four saves for Charlottesville.

The Black Knights host Harrisonburg sat 11:30 a.m. Saturday in a scrimmage while Fluvanna travels to Louisa County Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
