Charlottesville’s boys soccer team traveled to face John Handley Monday night in the Region 4A West quarterfinals and the Black Knights came away with a win, edging Handley 1-0.
Abibi Osman had the game winner for Charlottesville in the seventh minute. From there the Black Knights held on, handing the Judges their first defeat of the season.
The victory moves Charlottesville into the region semifinals where they’ll face Park View Wednesday after Park View beat Fauquier 3-0 Monday.
