With a handful of Division 1 offers on his plate, 6-foot-6 Blue Ridge forward Malick Kone has decided to make Rutgers his home for the 2011-2012 basketball season.
In his first year with the team, Kone helped lead the Barons to a spot in the VISAA Divison 1 championship. As a junior he averaged 13.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game, earning first team All-Scrimmage Play and first team All-VISAA in the process.
