Albemarle’s girls tennis team resumed its Commonwealth District slate on Monday with a trip to North Stafford and finished with a lopsided victory.
Albemarle rolled to a 9-0 win over the Wolverines. Caroline Chisholm finished up the singles play holding on in a tough match at number the third slot, winning 10-8 to compete the sweep. The doubles teams put together more of the same with North Stafford’s pair at the third doubles spot putting up the toughest fight before falling 8-6 to Kelly Miller and Kaitlyn Grossman.
Albemarle travels to Brooke Point on Thursday.
