Albemarle’s boys tennis team made short work of Covenant Wednesday as the Patriots rolled 8-1 over the Eagles.
Matthew Rose snagged a solid win at No. 1 for the Eagles, beating David Sun 6-2, 6-2, but from there it was all Patriots. The game featured the return of former Albemarle standout Jon Pyo as the Eagles’ first-year head coach.
Albemarle will host Fluvanna County Wednesday at 5 p.m. while Covenant takes on Trinity Friday at 4:30 p.m.
