Albemarle’s boys tennis team got the postseason started the right way Monday night with a 5-0 victory over North Stafford at home.
The entire top six for the Patriots rolled in their matches, with Will Murray rolling 10-0 while Lee Wilson, Ben Anderson, Kashyap Shah and Danny Jackson all grabbed 10-2 victories. Doug Corbett rounded out the shutout with a 10-5 victory.
Albemarle advances to the Commonwealth District semifinals with the victory. The Patriots (16-0, 15-0 CD) will host Massaponax Wednesday at 5 p.m.
