With Powhatan standout Olivia Chadwick prowling the No. 1 singles and doubles spots for the Indians, Albemarle’s girls tennis team knew they’d need some solid play from the bottom of the ladder to pick up a win Wednesday night.
They got just that with seeds two through six picking up wins in singles to secure the match. Molly Napolitano and Madeline Bruggeman won their matches 10-1 each while Gabby Balcels crusied 10-0 her singles matchup.
Albemarle travels to Charlottesville Thursday.
