Monticello’s girls lacrosse team made short work of Eastern View Wednesday night, cruising 19-5 past the Cyclones.
Caleigh Smith set a career high in points and goals in the performance, scoring eight goals while dishing out three assists for 11 total points.
Josie Mallory also put together a big night as the Mustangs moved to 2-0 on the season. Mallory notched a hat trick and finished with a pair of assists. Freshman Taylar Hackney finished with three goals and an assist.
April Carter, Alexis Stadler and Tara Meissner each had a goal and an assist while Alison Swartout and Mattie-Caroline Lee each had a goal.
