Another week, another record for Western Albemarle quarterback Kent Henry.
Henry, who broke the area’s career total yardage mark two weeks ago against Fort Defiance, is now the all-time leader in touchdown responsibility.
Henry had six touchdowns, four on the ground and two through the air, against Orange County last week. That allowed him to pass Chad Byers as the area’s all-time touchdown responsibility leader, a VHSL metric that combines passing, rushing, receiving, return and defensive touchdowns.
Henry has thrown for or rushed for 97 total touchdowns in his career, outpacing Byers’ mark of 92 total for Blue Ridge from 2004-2007.
