Scrimmage Play’s Anna Isley caught a late kill by Brittney Wagner that gave Western a 23-16 lead in the third game and helped the Warriors pull away with a 3-0 victory over Fauquier in the Region II quarterfinal. Wagner, a senior reserve, stepped into star Sarah Harper’s usual role, and helped steady the Warriors with eight kills. Harper was sick, but played later in the match.
