C.J. Prosise has joined what’s becoming a growing club, Woodberry Forest players in the NFL.
The Petersburg native joined fellow former Tigers Ed Reynolds and Kendall Gaskins in the league when he was picked in the 3rd round by the Seattle Seahawks with the 90th pick in the draft.
Prosise was the Scrimmage Play defensive player of the year in 2011 before heading to Notre Dame where he played a variety of positions for the Irish before setting in as the squad’s top running back his year. Prosise had been a receiver and special teamer at Notre Dame before lining up in the backfield this year.
