Madison County softball dropped its lone game of the season back on April 4, and since then, the Mountaineers have gotten rolling again, allowing just four runs in five wins.

That fifth-straight win came Thursday when Logyn Estes threw five four-hit innings while striking out six in an 11-0 victory over William Monroe.

Estes also helped herself with a a home run as part of a 1-for-4, two RBI night while Cassie Smith went 4-for-5 while ripping two doubles and knocking in three runs. Emily Seale knocked in three runs while going 1-for-2 while Sophie Adams went 3-for-4 and knocked in two runs. Adams and Seale both hit doubles while Morgan Clark had a triple.

Rachel Hill went 2-for-2 for the Dragons while Jessica Ford had a double.

Madison will try and pick up another win at home against Rapphannock Friday night while the Dragons will look to bounce back at home against Warren County the same night.
