In Group 4A, Louisa County’s Jeffrey Sisk advanced to the state final with an 8-4 decision in the semifinals. He’ll wrestler for a state title Saturday afternoon.
In Group 5A, Orange County’s Corey Champion fell 9-0 by major decision.
In Group 3A, Western Albemarle’s Russ lost in a sudden victory overtime situation 5-3.
In Group 2A, Madison’s Zach Gibson and Jalyn Simms both fell in the semifinals by decision, with Gibson losing 3-2 while Simms fell 10-4.
