In a tri-match Monday at Lake of the Woods in Locust Grove, Orange County’s golf team picked up a win over Madison County and Liberty.
Ryan Dodson led the way for the Hornets, earning medalist honors with a nine-hole 42. The Hornets also got scores of 45 from Colby Romasco and Trent Carr and a 49 from Anthony Lacava rounded out the scoring for Orange’s 181.
Madison carded a 198 as a squad with Gaines Swink’s 44 setting the pace. Rachel Honaker and Dale McNamara followed with 51s and Taylor Utz posted a 52.
Liberty’s Russell Markey led the squad with a 47.
Orange hits the course again Thursday against Monticello at Glenmore while Madison has a tri-match in Luray Tuesday.
