Monticello’s wrestling program is hosting a unique clinic this week that includes a team from Indianapolis and is open to all ages and experience levels July 18-19.
The two-day clinic Tuesday and Wednesday culminates in a particularly novel twist, an outdoor match at Mustang Stadium Wednesday night from 7-9 p.m. depending on the number of participants. The clinic costs just $50.00 for both days or $30 for one day.
It’s a solid opportunity for beginning wrestlers and experienced wrestlers alike as they’ll get a chance to face an entirely new slate of grapplers including the group from Indiana. For more information or to register, email Robbie Wendell at rwendell@k12albemarle.org.
