Jefferson District completes golf season, announces All-JD golf

The 2014 Jefferson District golf regular season wrapped up Monday at Mill Quarter Plantation and there’s a tie atop the district standings and a slew of players who earned All-Jefferson District honors.

Charlottesville put together a scorching 303 at Mill Quarter to tie Albemarle at the top of the district standings with 18 points over a series of mini-district matches. Following just behind the Patriots and Black Knights were Monticello and Western.

A.J.Stouffer and Zach Russell each carded 75s to win medalist honors at Mill Quarter. Phillip Hoffman’s 76 and Thad Probst’s 77 rounded out the CHS scoring. Albemarle took second on the day, with Chase Northcott’s 78 leading the way along with Jack Robbins and Brogan Ezell with a 79 each.

Monticello took third with Danny Larrabee and Robbie Deane putting together 77s to set the pace for the Mustangs.
