Fork Union drops O’Connell

 

It took Fork Union a quarter to get going against Bishop O’Connell Saturday, but once the Blue Devils did, they rolled, winning 30-7 for FUMA’s third win of the season.

 

Fork Union quarterback Luke Wilson was an efficient 10-for-16 on the day with 125 yards and three touchdowns. His first two scoring passes went to Larry Elder and then Will Stupalsky in the second quarter. Stupalsky tacked on a field goal to make it 16-0  Blue Devils at halftime.

 

Wilson’s third scoring toss went to Logan Justice in the third quarter. R.C. Wallbrook then tacked on a 6-yard scoring run in the fourth quarter. Wallbrook had 79 yards on 11 carries, pairing with Isoefa Pua’auli who had 102 yards on nine touches to form a solid one-two punch on the ground.

 

Justice finished with 49 yards on four catches while Stupalsky had three grabs for 49 yards.
