Buckingham rides Bolden to win over Central Lunenburg

It isn’t always Taylor Boyers who’s posting double doubles down at Buckingham. Kevin Bolden gets in on the mix too.

Bolden poured in 21 points and hauled in 12 rebounds to kickstart the Knights who used a strong second half to put away Lunenburg Central 66-41.

Boyers had a double double too, as he does in nearly every outing, with 11 points and 11 boards.

B.J. Jones dished out eight assists and committed just four turnovers at the point. Harry Eldridge had 12 points and shot 83 percent from inside the arc.

The versatile Knights, who can shoot well from the 3-point line, leaned heavily on Bolden and Boyers for the solid win that pushed their record to 14-3.
