Both of the Albemarle girls and boys cross country teams qualified for the Northwest Region Championships.
Behind Anthony Kostelac’s first place finish, the boys placed third overall. The Patriots had five runners finish in the top 25 with sophomore Adam Visokay following Kostelac with’s 16th place time.
The girls managed to move forward with their fourth place showing lead by freshman Maggie Tubridy and Allison Huschke. Tubridy and Huscke came in 12th and 13th place overall respectively.
The two teams will get to run on their home course at Panorama Farms on Thursday.
